Does anyone know if that was Ray Mcallum's son last night in the Mcdonalds All American Skills and dunk Contest on ESPN.
It must be. If so the announcers did not mention Ray Sr being a coach ... player... nothing. Of course Ball State was not mentuioned either.
Thought it was very interesting. If thats not his son then this is me _________________ Now "thats" restaurant quality !

I didn't see it, but his son is a McDonald's High School All-American. With that bit of knowledge, I would assume that was Ray Jr. _________________ "Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there." John Wooden

Well he is fantastic ! His dunks were legendary ! At 6-1 what he did was second to none.
i dont know if he ended up winning it but he was in first place when i was tuned in.
The only thing they said about him was that he reminded them of the "baby faced" kid from Davidson who was one of the darlings of the tournament last year.
I am now completly shccked they didnt bring up the fact that his dad is or was a division 1 head coach AND a scoring leader at Ball State.
Maybe they said it later on in the broadcast.. _________________ Now "thats" restaurant quality !

McCallum Playing for the West
From everything I can gather, it appears that Josh Selby won the slam dunk contest with McCallum coming in second. If I read correctly, it sounds like McCallum would've won, but he missed a dunk. _________________ "Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there." John Wooden

I know i have said it before, but it is hard for me to comprehend that this person is the little cute boy who used to do ball handling drills during the 1/2 times of games...damn I am getting old! _________________ Fight Team Fight for Ball State!
